DFGC LIFE MEMBERSHIP
 
Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs Clubs may award Life Membership to Delaware garden club members to honor outstanding service to their communities, local clubs, or the state organization.
 
Life Membership is an appropriate, appreciated, and affordable way for a local club and DFGC to say "Thank You" to a club founder, an out-going president or a hard-working volunteer. The one-time $50 membership fee helps to fund the DFGC Scholarship Program. 

Each Life Member named on this page represents a $50 donation to the DFGC Scholarship Program. Since 2020, there have been 37 new Life Memberships awarded to members of Delaware Garden Clubs. This represents $1850 in donations to college scholarships.

NGC LIFE MEMBERSHIP
According to the National Garden Club website, a gift of Life Membership to National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) may be given to any individual deserving an honor for their contributions to the local, state, or national organizations. The NGC Scholarship Fund and the Permanent Home Endowment Fund benefit equally from the donation required for a Life Membership.
